SO, I've been considering different type of interactions and ways to execute it.
At first, because of being inspired from the interactive horror film "13th street, last call", I decided to use calling method so that the user can have a closer type of interaction with the protagonist.
However due to the restriction of my knowledge on technical, lecturer did suggested me to use "watsapp" or "sms" type of interaction which is quite interesting also.
Besides, watsapp is much more easier, or I should say less problems that have to be solved.
Problems for phone call such as :-
1. Phone have to ring at the same time the protagonist call.
2. When the user answered, protagonist have to quickly reply.
3. When decision being made or when the user answer call, the video have to jump to the next part as fast as possible so that user won't have to wait too long and lost their interest.
4. Voice in the phone and in the video is different, but their timing is same.
Problems for watsapp is lesser, for example, when the user watsapp the protagonist, it may takes time for telco to work, therefore message might reach protagonist maybe few second later. It would be quite natural.
And with "Watsapp" interaction, I can just create a prototype which looks exactly same as watsapp interface and the user who used it might think it is the real one.
So here's two interactions that I can consider of, but at last I chose to use my previous idea which is the "phone call interaction". In my opinion, I think this type of interaction where you can listen and feel to the protagonist's voice, breath, and nervous will be much more better. User can completely immerse into that video or put her/himself into that situation.
I'm pretty sure this would be a great experience for those who love to watch movies.
